JOINING THE ALN AND BREAMISH LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY

Annual subscriptions to the Society are £10 per single member or £15 for joint members, i.e. two people living at the same address. A year’s subscription is valid for a year or part of a year from September each year. Subscriptions may be paid in person at the September meeting. Direct debit forms may also be obtained from the Membership Secretary.

Benefits of Membership

·         Free entry to all the Society’s lectures (normally seven per annum)

·         Receive a copy of the Society's annual journal 'Records and Recollections'.

·         Free access to the Society’s digital archive of photographs and documents on request

·         Free participation in any walks or visits to historic sites which may be organised by the Society from time to time.

If you are unable to join in the Society’s activities because of distance from the area, it may be possible to pay a reduced subscription to receive the journal only. Please contact the Membership Secretary for more details. This facility is open only to institutions, e.g. libraries and archives, or to persons living outside Northumberland.

Non-Member Visitors and Enquiries

We welcome non-member visitors at lectures and other events on payment of £3 per visitor. Non-member enquiries about the digital archive of photographs and documents will also be charged £3 plus the cost of any media supplied in answering the query.
